Koenji Studio becomes the cinematic backdrop for an independent short film
Koenji Studio gave an independent short film production access to both a flexible creative workspace and a unique filming location within the same building.
One of Koenji Studio’s most distinctive features is direct access to The Den, a craft beer and burger bar located on the floor below.
This allows filmmakers, photographers, and content creators to seamlessly incorporate an authentic bar setting into their productions while maintaining access to studio facilities, equipment, and production support.
For this project, the production made use of The Den’s warm lighting, vintage décor, furniture, and retro pinball machine to create a believable cinematic environment without the need for extensive set construction.
Additional LED tube lighting supplied by Koenji Studio helped shape the visual style of key scenes while preserving the atmosphere and character of the location.
